new regulations planned for later this month will see bikers/car drivers forced to pay all of their motoring legal cost even if they're found not guilty of whichever offence they are accused.if you challange a ticket & win you will still have to pay your own legal costs.please sign the petition that is already running.

Ace Cafe "Blue Haze" Day '09

This year's event is on 1st November.

I have spoken to a couple of people who are interested, so it would be good to do a ride in from Chelsea Bridge if we can get it together.

The day has suffered from poor attendance and bad weather (probably related) the past few years, so I hope we can get it going again this year.

Yes I know the food's not gourmet, the North Circ. is Camerasville Arizona and the marshaling was shocking, but it's an excuse for a ride-out in November.

hi all,
well what a show!!!
i really enjoyed it and met some more good people from the club and off the other forums!!!

biggest shock was ARDON turning up!!!!!!!!!!!!!

seems a nice bloke tbh....hey ho ...very busy on the stand and a lot of bikes in a small area...scruff could not make it...van problems

we had a lot of people who came and saw us and chatted away...
this was a good show for me as i built a bike just for this show and is seen in the pictures.

booga,i will send these direct if needed with a write up if required.

il leave the pictures to tell the story.

i am the 3rd owner now and its all there.
matching and as per brand new from towsend motorcyles in london.

it was one of a few limited editions done in the day to "shift" some ...painted by dream machine.

paintwork has scars and wheels /frame swinger been touched brush painted and few rusty parts and corrotion etc.
forks pitted badly so i am gonna strip it and make it nice.
however i am not "nos-ing it"
keeping it as per dealer but just re-painting and tidying up.it will need new brakes and a few minor repairs but its all frame work thats need doing.
body work will be left as it is.
seat mint and it runs good.

stock 12a no washer in down pipe though but pipe rattles inside so have to fit a new one ...a nos part but thats only cos i have one.

reat is spot on.

took for a 100 mile run on it and runs well good but 100 miles max..those bars/position is a tad uncomfy...
lad i got it off was pleased its gone to a good home.all i am gonna do it tidy it up.
and keep original finish as per the dealership once it was sold.

has original service book 2 keys and handbook.
also 7k original miles!!!!

bargain i just had to have it.

Calliper/master cylinder rebuild

Hi, have just stripped the front brakes to get them looking tidy etc etc and surprise surprise they need rebuilding as the seals etc are perished.
Does anyone know where they best place to buy kits or parts to refurb them is?
My bike is a 1980 4L0.

Hi, sorry to be a pain, i keep trying but cant load up any pics for my profile etc. It says i am out of memory. I have jpeg pics. It seems a shame that it took me a year of long nights in the garage restoring my F2 and now cant share the joy!! Can anyone help me? Cheers.

Does anyone have any recommendations please as I've been quoted loads from a local locksmith.

To qualify for your free and exclusive Club display area located in the centre of the circuit with signage and enough space for a minimum of 20 bikes your Club must commit to purchase in advance at least 15 tickets at the exclusive Bike Club ticket offer. Your individual club members may also purchase in advance their own tickets at the exclusive Bike Club rate (booking fee applies) by using the specific booking code issued to your club.

Exclusive Bike Club Ticket Offer : Tickets are valid for both days and are only available to members of participating Clubs (booking fee applies).

had some bad news 31/7/09

had some really bad news friday that really upset me...
brother smashed his bike up badly smashing his leg and wiping out his knee joint.
it was really bad news with talk of never walking again or maybe removing it....i was devastated.....

went to see him and i took this pic...he told me to tell you lot about wearing proper gear and impotance of it...this metal work is tempory until the recontructive team do their work on tuesday 4/8/09.....

spare a thought lads and wish him well if you can...
